GLULAM FIRE BARRIER SYSTEM

According to Council Directive 89/106/EEC on construction products, the construction works must be designed and built in such a way that in the event of the outbreak of fire:

  • the generation and spread of fire and smoke within the works are limited
  • the spread of the fire to neighbouring construction works is limited
  • occupants can safely leave the works and the safety of rescue teams is taken into consideration

HBE FIRE is a system for the construction of buildings or building members conforming to European standards for buildings with increased fire safety requirements. It can be used whenever required by the building code and wherever increased strength, insulation performance and air-tightness are needed. HBE FIRE walls meet the requirements for EI 60 fire barriers.

The HBE FIRE system consists of the following types of products:
HBE fire wall – walls with the REI60 fire rating

HBE fire ceiling – ceilings with the REI60 fire rating

HBE fire roof– flat roofs with the REI60 fire rating
